Making By-Laws

Every strata scheme has the right to make its own by-laws including the right to amend or repeal those put in place by the developer when your owners corporation or community association was created.

We do this for you in three easy steps:

  1. Give us your strata plan number and we will find out what by-laws are registered for your scheme with the government – this gives us a starting point.
  2. Select the by-laws you want from the by-law menu we will send to you.
  3. We prepare the new by-laws and other paperwork for you to put up at your next general meeting.

The package we send you will come with useful guidance notes to help occupiers understand what the rules are about and how to live by them.

  • Model By-law Registration – $250 + outlays
  • Minor Renovation Motion – $260
  • Renovation By-law – $460 + outlays
  • Common Property Rights By-law – $440 + outlays
  • Common Property Memorandum By-law – $440 + outlays
  • A complete set of new by-laws: $750 + outlays

All prices include GST.
